Warranty Policy

Mod Cycles Corp., (MOD), warrants that each new vehicles distributed by the company through authorized dealers, are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance condition, SUBJET TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS, CONDITIONS, LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS.

How long is the warranty coverage of my Mod Cycles vehicle?
Mod Cycles Corp. shall cover the unit under warranty for 12 months or 4.000 miles on parts whichever comes first and with the exemption of the non-warrantable parts as indicated in the warranty exclusions. The warranty period starts the date of purchase of the unit.

What should I do if my Mod Cycles unit experiences technical problems during the warranty period?
If a problem occurs, customer may visit an authorized Mod Cycles dealer to have the unit evaluated and file for a warranty claim.

What are the requirements I need to present if I need to claim for warranty of my Mod Cycles unit?
When claiming for warranty, please present the following documents to your servicing dealer: Warranty Registration Form, Sales Invoice of the unit and Maintenance History Record (if available).

What is being covered by the Mod Cycles Warranty Policy?
Warranted Parts and cost of the first warranted part shipping (factory Defects). The shipping of any additional parts will be paid by the client).

What are the exclusions of Mod Cycles Warranty Policy?
The Absence of Warranty Registration Form. If the customer cannot present the properly filled out Warranty Registration Form, the dealer may refuse to cover the claim under warranty. Negligence of periodic maintenance schedule.

Racing. Any damage which results from the use of the vehicle in a race or any other events of competition.

Overloading. Any damage which results from the use of the vehicle beyond the specified limitation (maximum load, passenger capacity, engine speed) or specifications indicated in the owner's manual of the unit.

Use of Non-genuine Mod Cycles Part.
Any damage which results from using Non-genuine Mod Cycles parts, other than recommended lubricants and fluids.

Modification.
Any damage which results from any modification performed to the unit.

Passage of time.
Any damage which may result from the passage of the time such as natural fading of painted surfaces or any other concerns of the same nature.

Unauthorized servicing dealers.
Any damage and loss of performance which resulted from repair performed by any person or service center not authorized by Mod Cycles Corp.

Incidental expenses.
Mod Cycles will not compensate for the cost of incidental expenses such as: Towing Services and or communications expenses resulting from a breakdown of the unit from a remote location. Costs related to personal injury and or property damages, compensation for loss of time, commercial loss and or rental cost for a substitute vehicle while the unit is being repaired.

Improper storage.
Any damage resulting from exposure of the unit, chemical agents, salt water, sun or any other environmental phenomenon.

Accidental damage.
Any damage which results from unavoidable natural disaster, fire, collision, theft.

Commercial purposes.
Any damage resulting for using the unit for any commercial purpose.

Consumable replacement parts.
Mod Cycles will not warrant the replacement of parts which deteriorated because of the natural wear and tear such as: spark plugs, fuel filters, fuel lines, oil filter elements, air cleaner elements, drive chain, sprockets, brake pads, brake shoes, light bulbs, tires, inner tubes or any other part that Mod Cycles may specify in the future.

Plastic body parts.Mod Cycles will not warrant the replacement of plastic body parts, such as: side covers, front panels, side panels.

Batteries.Mod Cycles will not warrant the batteries.

Returns.
Scooters and or motorcycles returns are not allowed.

Owner responsibility.
In order to maintain this warranty in effect, the owner must request that the pre-delivery inspection checklist is completed in full and signed by the MOD CYCLES dealer, before accepting the delivery of the product. The appropriate owner's manual for the model of vehicle purchased. Ensure that the Mod Cycles dealer conducting the service inspections has certified the work on the vehicle service record.
